The Voice USA premiered TV2 7.30 Friday night and as you’d expect it exceed all expectations. I have gone off singing shows lately. The last season of X-Factor USA was a bit lack luster, American Idol hasn’t been anything special either.
The coaches are on a level of their own. For any aspiring artist working alongside Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levin or Blake Shelton would be a dream come true. The opportunity to work with some of the worlds most successful performers, writers, producers and entertainers is something that most people don’t even get to experience at all.
I like the way the voice has teams, I like that there are coaches not judges and the fact that the whole competition rides on vocal ability not the look of an artist. The look of pure excitement, shock and disbelief when the coaches turn their chairs is one of the best parts of this show. The reactions are priceless.
